Eyal Waldman

President, CEO, and Director

Eyal Waldman is a co-founder of Mellanox, and has served as our president and chief executive officer and as a member of our board of directors since March 1999. From March 1999 until June 2013, Mr. Waldman served as our chairman of our board of directors. From March 1993 to February 1999, Mr. Waldman served as vice president of engineering and was a co-founder of Galileo Technology, Ltd., a semiconductor company, which was acquired by Marvell Technology Group, Ltd. in January 2001. From August 1989 to March 1993, Mr. Waldman held a number of design and architecture related positions at Intel Corporation, a manufacturer of computer, networking and communications products. Mr. Waldman also serves and previously served on the board of directors of a number of private companies. Mr. Waldman holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In June 2016, Mr. Waldman was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Technion. Mr. Waldman is located in Israel.

Jacob Shulman

Chief Financial Officer

Jacob Shulman has served as Mellanox's Chief Financial Officer since November 2012. Mr. Shulman joined Mellanox in June 2007 as corporate controller and served as vice president of finance from March 2012 until November 2012. From 2005 to 2007 Mr. Shulman served as corporate controller of Atrica Inc, a telecommunications company acquired by Nokia-Siemens. Prior to Atrica Mr. Shulman spent seven years in senior finance, including controller and divisional chief financial officer positions with Matav Cable Systems, an Israeli cable television provider, Thyssenkrupp AG, a multinational conglomerate corporation, and Guava Technologies, a biotechnology and medical devices company. Mr. Shulman’s background also includes five years of audit-related work with Ernst & Young LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Shulman holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from Tel-Aviv University and Master of Business Administration from the College of Management Academic Studies in Israel. Mr. Shulman is located in the United States.

Michael Kagan

Chief Technology Officer

Michael Kagan is a co-founder of Mellanox and has served as CTO since January 2009. Previously, Mr. Kagan served as vice president of architecture from May 1999 to December 2008. From August 1983 to April 1999, Mr. Kagan held a number of architecture and design positions at Intel Corporation. While at Intel Corporation, between March 1993 and June 1996, Mr. Kagan managed Pentium MMX design, and from July 1996 to April 1999, he managed the architecture team of the Basic PC product group. Mr. Kagan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology.

Amir Prescher

Sr. Vice President of Business Development

Amir Prescher has served as Mellanox's senior vice president of business development since February 2013. Previously, Mr. Prescher was Mellanox's vice president of business development from February 2011 to January 2013. Prior to Mellanox, Mr. Prescher was a founder of Voltaire where he served in various capacities, including executive vice president of business development from 2008 to 2011, vice president of business development from 2001 to 2008,vice president of marketing from 1999 to 2008, and from 1997 to 1999, as vice president of research and development. Prior to Voltaire, Mr. Prescher served as an officer in Israel’s Defense Forces Technical Intelligence Unit. Mr. Prescher studied at Tel-Aviv University with a focus in electricity and electronics engineering.

Marc Sultzbaugh

Sr. Vice President of WorldWide Sales

Marc Sultzbaugh has served as Mellanox's senior vice president of worldwide sales since December 2012. Previously, Mr. Sultzbaugh served as Mellanox's vice president of worldwide sales from April 2007 to December 2012. Mr. Sultzbaugh joined Mellanox Technologies in 2001 as director of high performance computing and director of central area sales, and was later promoted to senior director of sales in October 2005. Prior to Mellanox, he held various executive sales and marketing positions with Brooktree Semiconductor. From 1985 to 1989, Sultzbaugh was an engineer at AT&T Microelectronics. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Missouri-Rolla, and a Master's of Business Administration from The University of California, Irvine.

Shlomit Weiss

Senior Vice President of Silicon Engineering

Shlomit Weiss has served as vice president of silicon development and held management roles such as client system-on-a-chip design manager and various server components at Intel since 1989. Ms. Weiss holds an MSc in electrical engineering (1989, Cum Laude) and BSc (1987) in computer science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Ms. Weiss holds multiple patents in the field of microprocessor design, and has received Intel Achievement Award for her contributions.

Mehdi Asghari

Vice President of Silicon Photonics

Dr. Mehdi Asghari, vice president of silicon photonics, is responsible for all aspects of Mellanox’s silicon photonics technology and product development. Dr. Asghari has over 20 years of research and product development experience within the silicon photonics industry. Previously, Dr. Asghari was the CTO at Kotura Inc., which was acquired by Mellanox in 2013. Before joining Kotura, Dr. Asghari served as VP of research and development at Bookham Inc., where he was responsible for the R&D and manufacturing transfer activities behind all of Bookham's silicon-based technologies and products. Dr. Asghari credentials include a Ph.D. degree in Optoelectronics from the University of Bath, a M.Sc. degree in Optoelectronics and Laser Devices from the Heriot-Watt and St. Andrews Universities. He also holds Master’s and B.Sc. degrees in Engineering from Cambridge University, England.

Eyal Babish

Vice President of Hardware

Eyal Babish, vice president of hardware, joined Mellanox in 2001 and is responsible for all hardware and system products. Previously, Mr. Babish was vice president of system solutions, responsible for the management of Mellanox system solutions and product engineering organization including development, qualification, certification, production testing, program management, and customer support. Prior to Mellanox, Mr. Babish worked at Elbit Systems as a hardware engineer. Mr. Babish graduated with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion Institute of Technology, Israel.

Kevin Deierling

Vice President of Marketing

Kevin Deierling has served as Mellanox's vice president of marketing since March 2013. Previously, Mr. Deierling was chief architect at Silver Spring Networks from 2007 to 2012. From 2005 to 2007, he was vice president of marketing and business development at Spans Logic. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Deierling was vice president of product marketing at Mellanox Technologies. Deierling has contributed to multiple technology standards through organization including the InfiniBand Trade Association and PCI Industrial Manufacturing Group. He has over 20 patents and was a contributing author of a text on BiCmos design. Mr. Deierling holds a BA in Solid State Physics from UC Berkeley.

Dror Goldenberg

Vice President of Software Architecture

Dror Goldenberg has served as Mellanox’s vice president of software architecture since October 2013. Previously, Mr. Goldenberg served as vice president of architecture from March 2010 to October 2013, where he was responsible for software, firmware and system architecture. Mr. Goldenberg joined Mellanox in 2000 as an architect, serving in numerous architecture and design positions. Prior to Mellanox, Mr. Goldenberg held various software development positions on an elite R&D team in the Israeli Defense Force. Prior to that, Mr. Goldenberg was a member of the Pentium MMX and Pentium 4 architecture validation teams at Intel. He contributed to the PCI and InfiniBand specifications and holds several patents in the field of high speed networking. Mr. Goldenberg graduated Cum Laude with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and holds an MBA from the Technion Institute of Technology Israel.

Amit Krig

Vice President of Software

Amit Krig has served as Mellanox’s vice president of software since October 2013. Previously, Mr. Krig was Mellanox’s vice president of solution validation and program management from March 2012 to October 2013. Mr. Krig joined Mellanox in 2000 as a software engineer, holding numerous roles including software development, solution validation, post-silicon program management and customer project management. Prior to Mellanox, Mr. Krig worked at Intel Corporation. Mr. Krig graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Computer Science from the Technion -- Israel Institute of Technology.

Shaul Galila

Vice President of Operations and Corporate Quality

Shaul Galila joined Mellanox in 2009 and is responsible for worldwide operations and corporate quality. Previously, Mr. Galila served as vice president of manufacturing operations from 2016, senior director of manufacturing operations from 2011 to 2016 and new product introduction manager from 2009 to 2011. Prior to Mellanox, Mr. Galila served as research and development manager and program manager in 'silynx communication'. Mr. Galila holds a Bachelor in business management from Ruppin Academic center in Israel.

Henning Lysdal

Vice President of Active Interconnect Engineering

Henning Lysdal, vice president of active interconnect engineering, is responsible for Mellanox’s analog interconnect integrated circuits. Mr. Lysdal was co-founder, COO, and later vice president of engineering for IPtronics A/S, which was acquired by Mellanox in 2013. Prior to the founding of IPtronics in 2003, Mr. Lysdal served as high-speed phy development manager at Giga A/S and Intel Corporation. Mr. Lysdal has 18 years of experience with integrated circuits for optical communication and holds a Master’s degree in Microelectronics Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.

Gilad Shainer

Vice President of Marketing

Gilad Shainer has served as Mellanox's vice president of marketing since March 2013. Previously, Mr. Shainer was Mellanox's vice president of marketing development from March 2012 to March 2013. Mr. Shainer joined Mellanox in 2001 as a design engineer and later served in senior marketing management roles between July 2005 and February 2012. Mr. Shainer holds several patents in the field of high-speed networking and contributed to the PCI-SIG PCI-X and PCIe specifications. Gilad Shainer holds a MSc degree (2001, Cum Laude) and a BSc degree (1998, Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel.

Alon Webman

Vice President of Silicon Engineering

Alon Webman, vice president of silicon engineering, was a co-founder of Mellanox in 1999 and is responsible for all integrated circuit design, including front-end and back-end. Previously, Mr. Webman was vice president of engineering, switch products. Mr. Webman served the company in numerous roles over the past 16 years, including chip development, post-silicon management, program management, and customer support. Prior to Mellanox, he held various engineering positions at Intel and Nexus. Mr. Webman holds a BSEE in electrical engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology, Israel.

Udi Weinstein

Vice President of Information Technologies

Udi Weinstein, vice president of information technologies, joined Mellanox in 2015 and is responsible for all Mellanox information technologies and information systems. Before joining Mellanox, Mr. Weinstein worked as vice president of information technologies at modu and SanDisk Corporation. Before that, he was the vice president and CIO of msystems. Mr. Weinstein has over 15 years of experience in organization & methods and in information technologies, mostly in the areas of operation, supply chain and engineering. Mr. Weinstein holds a B.A. in economics from Tel Aviv University.

Einat Zuk

Sr. Vice President of Human Resources

Einat Zuk has served as Mellanox's vice president of human resources since March 2012. Mrs. Zuk joined Mellanox in 2001 where she was responsible for Mellanox global human resource activities. Prior to Mellanox, Mrs. Zuk held various human resource management positions at Elbit Systems and Runway Venture Capital. Mrs. Zuk holds a Bachelors and Masters in Organizational Psychology from the Haifa University in Israel.

Nimrod Gindi

Vice President of M&A and Head of Investments

Nimrod Gindi has served as Mellanox Vice President of M&A and Head of Investments since February 2015 overseeing Mellanox Capital. Previously, Mr. Gindi was Mellanox Capital Managing Director from 2014 and Mellanox's Senior Director of Corporate development. Mr. Gindi joined Mellanox in 2000 as a software engineer, holding numerous roles including firmware/software development, solution validation, Business Development. Prior to Mellanox, Mr. Gindi worked at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Mr. Gindi graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Alinka Flaminia

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Ms. Flaminia joined Mellanox in September 2016 as senior vice president and general counsel. Prior to this, Ms. Flaminia served as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary from January 2007 which was acquired by Microsemi Corporation in January 2016. Before this, Ms. Flaminia served as senior counsel at Xilinx, Inc. from March 2001 through 2006 where she provided legal services to the finance and corporate services, sales, marketing and human resources organizations worldwide. Ms. Flaminia served as manager of legal affairs for McAfee, Inc. (formerly known as Network Associates, Inc.) from December 1999 to March 2001. Ms. Flaminia was in private practice from 1990-1999, representing companies on a wide variety of corporate and litigation matters. Ms. Flaminia received her Doctorate of Law (J.D.) from the University of Colorado and her Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.
